Greens School of Motoring

I highly recommend Green’s School of motoring, Robin is patient yet goal orientated encouraging his students to move outside their comfort zone but offering the reassurance needed to promote learning.  I had a very specific goal, I needed to pass my test within 10 weeks of starting to learn to drive and with Green’s School of Motoring I accomplished this passing my test 1st time.

11 weeks of tuition and I passed my test first time.

This was after 20 years of starting and stopping with driving lessons with many different schools and instructors all of which I am sure were excellent, I finally completed a course of tuition with Robin and passed my test.

I have no doubt, that without Robin Green’s tuition, I would not have realised my dream of having the independence that the passing your driving test affords you.

Robin’s patience, enthusiasm, and passion gave me the confidence and the necessary  skills to stick with my lessons and finally undertake my test.

Robin is an excellent tutor and would recommend him to anybody, especially those lacking in confidence with their driving.

I started driving lessons with Robin as soon as i got my date for my test, I didn’t know what to expect as I thought myself how to drive. Robin arrived on time was very calm and professional and put me at ease straight away. I failed my test the first time due to nerves but robin managed to keep me focused and gave me the determination to pass second time round, I would highly recommomend him to everyone.

Before I took lessons with Robin, I thought I would have little or no problem passing my driving test. However i soon realised I was a long way off! I booked a pre-test with Robin, where he observed my driving just like a real test and at the end gave me my result! I was shocked when he informed me I failed three times over, for many different faults; not being able to answer rules of the road questions, not having a clue where to put oil, positioning on the road and observation, to name a few. I was stunned and realised I had better get my act together if I wanted to pass my test! On my lessons with Robin, he talked me through the whole driving test exam. He tested me on rules of the road questions, safety checks, the three point turn manoeuvre, reverse around corner, hill-start, roundabouts and junctions. I felt quite confident when the time came to sit my driving test as i had all the information and skills required to pass. And i did! Passed first time! I was so impressed with Robin as a driving instructor, i recommended him to my two brothers and my friends when the time came for them to do their driving test. All credit to him!

I would highly recommend Robin to anyone thinking about learning to drive.  Apart from giving excellent tuition he gives you that one thing that is essential to passing a driving test – confidence behind the wheel.

Robin knows how to improve on people’s weaknesses and gently nudges you in the direction to overcome mistakes and to build confidence in those areas that were previously lacking. While being extremely focused and intent on getting you to learn correctly a lifetime skill, he is also a genuinely nice and pleasant man.

Robin remained calm, patient and reassuring throughout the lessons and was very accommodating time wise, thereby allowing me to learn around my work hours.

I passed my test first time and I would like to thank Robin for all his support from start to finish.

If I was to recommend a driving instructor to anyone, I would highly recommend Robin.
